The Second Time Around

Well well, We're already at Thanksgiving and I feel like just a couple weeks ago I started my second year at Connolly. It's just been a wild ride and as I look back there are truly so many things to be thankful for. God has brought my family and I through so much since I left California to bring some español to New England. Both of my brothers unemployment (one for a year), the real estate issues with grandpa's old house, ALLLL the bleeping money problems, me living on 80$ a month for food for about 6 months and you who know me know that's crazy, doing sooo much dang work for PACT while teaching (and learning to teach at the same time lol), oh man there are so many more but I'm just chilling here watching the Magic and Heat (which are 2 of the 4 teams in the NBA whose name does not end with an "S"---Thunder (new team) n the Jazz are the other two) and reading through a good friend of mines' blog which brought me to write my own and I think to myself that though I suffered a lot the learning experiences and "awakening" I've had have certainly outweighed all the negatives. Tomorrow I have the privilege to coach and hopefully make more history by going 5-5 and beating a team which we never have defeated, going to have thanksgiving dinner with a great family who I know through one of my students then another one friday night with one of fellow coaches with his big Italian famiglia jeje then a few days off to reflect, things are definitely better the second time around.... you know what to expect and I just feel freer and the level of comfort is better, I feel like my mind isn't scrambled all the time lol. I find myself thinking of my future more and more everyday and you know, this winter will play a big role in weather :P or not I might take a chance and stay out here, at what school I dont't know but if anything I know for sure is that God will take care of it, history tells me so and faith reassures me....
